• Participation by CCCG approved at June 20, 2007 meeting
• CCCG now meeting with stakeholders, LANL, NM Tech and others on development

County Industrial Parks

• Working with Catron County Commission
• Parks to be located in northern county along Hwy 60 corridor and southern county outside of Reserve.

Economic Development

• CCCG is Catron County's Economic Development Organization by Ordinance. CCCG works with the County Commission and NM Economic Development Department (NM EDD) on economic development for the whole county.
• Certified Communities Initiative (NM CII) will pre-qualify Catron County for economic development opportunities from NM EDD
• Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) ordinance authorizes an economic development plan for the County
• The County's economic development website provides economic information for County citizens as well as for entrepreneurs and investors interested in Catron County
• The economic development plan will incorporated into the County's Comprehensive Plan
• Working with Southwest Center for Resource Analysis at WNMU, CCCG will provide assistance to complete the County's Comprehensive Plan
